Hi all, I'm a newbie to the site and wanting a little advice/help. I'm a Landrover Freelander owner, always loved Landrovers and finally after several years decided to buy my first one......
I recently (1 month ago) purchased a 53 Freelander 2.0L Td4 Kalhari privately and have just noticed that LH side lights front and rear (bumper) do not work . They have been working in the time i have had it but for some reason they do not work now.
Obvious solution was to check the bulbs. They were fine. I then checked the fuse which had blown. I replaced the fuse and tried the side lights again, which in turn blew the fuse.
I think that there is a wiring fault but I do not want to start messing around with any of it.
Q: Has anyone else had this type of fault?
Q: Where would be the best place to get this fault sorted? (ie. Garage, auto electrician etc...)
Q: how much would I be looking at to get this problem sorted?
I really need to get this sorted as I absolutely love my Freelander and can not bear the fact that there is something wrong with it.
Please can anyone help or point me in the right direction.
