HI Everyone,

I just bought a land rover freelander TD4 from my friend with the mileage running up to 42500KM.

I have sent the car to local service center for thorough inspection and everything is in excellent condition. The only history about this car is that it has a turbo change before and the mechanics has do a good job on it by changing the filter and washing all oil leakage in the intercooler away.

Now I noticed there are some black colour liquid coming out from the exhaust in the morning. Does anyone knows about this symptom? I have sent it to the same service center and they tell me it is water condensation with exhaust.

Please help.

Hello,

Yep just a bit of condensation forming on the cold metal of the tail pipe, nothing to worry about with that, there are plenty of other things to start worrying about though apparently

Td4 freelanders are very reliable landrovers. If you have any questions post them in the Freelander section. Only the closet Freelander tractor boys post in there, so you will encounter less **** taking.
