Just a quick hello from the proud new owner of a 20 year old 300Tdi Defender.
Living near Slough and looking forward to contributing to this great site.
I've always dreamed of buying an old defender to do up as a hobby...I'm more excited about getting the spanners dirty than getting the wheels dirty, so look forward to all the advice that I'm sure I'll need at some point.

Rave manual? - I've downloaded the workshop manual, the 300Tdi engine overhaul manual and some others.
Pictures to come...I'm currently on the work computer.
Security....steering wheel lock and pedal lock so far + it currently has no inlet/exhaust manifold, turbo or battery fitted - that should slow the feckers down
