I've just replace my front wheel bearings Timkin ones, removal and refitting all was per normal, when I've gone to replace the wheel hub it won't fit, there doesn't appear to be enough thread on the stub axel. Can anyone help!

this was my stub axle, yours seems to have a race of some sort where the inner bearing slides up to? Mines a 1987 early 110 so may be an older design.

You've left the inner bearing race on the stub axle ... This will need careful chiselling off, or prying from the back ..

Soooooo.....did you get hold of @Oldseadog to get the swivels done for the MOT? Is this work part of that, cos you have to strip the Hubs off to do the swivel seals too....

I've been in hospital for my pre surgery... I'm having a nightmare Yeah I end up doing it myself, once I was down I was fine... the job itself was pretty straightforward, apart from not realising the inner part of the bearing remained in the stub axel

Glad you are slowly getting it sorted, don't forget to contact OSD to say thanks :D:D:D

Hope the pre-op went well and the surgery goes without hitch too....best of luck with everything.

Absolutely.
Also, best read through the previous post you put on asking for help!

Forget medals!
As far as I was concerned it was someone who needed help doing a couple of jobs for an MoT, and I have friends who run an apprentice training school for motor mechanics.
They were good enough to offer to do the works as training exercises at minimal cost.
In my very humble opinion, good manners cost nothing, so all it would have taken was a quick phone call to tell me to feck off ... and even that didn't happen!
Guess who is more than slightly ****ed off with Landyfox!!

I'm not surprised you feel like that, it's a very natural reaction. What you arranged initially and how you have dealt with the situation since has been amazing and I'm sure will be massively admired by everyone who has read it. I won't forget the medal, because you do deserve one, figuratively speaking. :p :)
