I have a 2007 Freelander with built in SAT NAV. I have just bought newer 2010/2011 DVD's to replace the existing. Now the Sat Nav seems to have locked up. :doh: When I put the new disk in it advised that system needed updating and would take around 15 mins. Now nothing. Any suggestions. Can i Reset?

Turn the engine off for a start. Now turn it on. If it's still not working, put the old disc in and see if it works. If it does, try again.

Limited experience on this but updating my old Chrysler it did take 10 mins or so during which time you should do or touch nothing. I think once upgraded (or partially upgraded) there's no going back without a dealer reflash.
Were the upgrade DVD's (were there more than 1?) from ... ahem... a legit source?
