Passenger side bank of cylinders on a slightly raised and machined casting under the exhaust ports.
It will be absolutely filthy and oily, grimy and you will no doubt need to douse it in gunk or something similar with a stiff nylon brush to scrub it up clean enough to read.
Usually stamped on a flat at the top of the block where the heads join. Down the side so sometimes not easy to see.
I think it should consist of 2 rows of numbers, 1 starts CR , the second row is the actual number.
Don’t get confused with casting numbers, although these can give information too.
