HELP Radio Code required

Could someone help with the cd/radio code for a face lift 54 plate TD4 Freelander.

Main dealer will help. Mine wanted the V5 as proof of ownership before giving me the radio code .

TD4 was purchassed Friday. I'm guessing the V5 will not get to the DVLA until Monday/Tueday and probably two weeks to process and post out before I get it back with my details on. I,m guessing the first Saturday (working M to F) I have V5 ready to drive the 16 mile round trip to Erdington will be boxing day so I may have to wait until the New Year before getting the radio to switch on. Does anyone know of any outlets in the Birmingham area Junc 1 M5 or a reputable online service that can supply the code without log book/V5. Also there is a 9 in the top right hand corner of the display, do I have 1 or 2 attempts left and what do I need to do if 10 failed codes have been entered.

If you know the model number, then holding preset 2 and 6 will give you the serial number. No need to remove centre console to remove radio
