If you have been following this forum for any length of time you will know how much we like the Ejoke, not.:D Best try to dry it out, a gallon of unleaded should raise the temperature sufficiently. ;):D

If it was fresh water and the vehicle was not running, then careful drying and cleaning of the ECU pcb's may save some of them. If all the ECU's have failed, the car is worthless so I wouldn't waste a gallon of petrol, half a gallon would do the job.

Whilst we wait for the natural conclusion

Give the poor schlemiel a break.
He thought he was getting a real bargain.
No need to make his life worse. He already has the worst of all possible Landies.

I think we need some expert help with this one @Saint.V8 is your man for this one:D
Heathrow ain't to far from me to not come round there and give you a backhand slap.....:D:D:D

Should have left the fecking Ejoke at the bottom of the river - and even then drag it out, burn it them put the fecking thing back.....

Given your size i'm sure you could also twist it into a mangled wreck with yer bare hands and toss it back to the sħitpit it deserves to live in ;)

probably the best advice the submarine division in the land rover forum subsection snorkelling with frogman outfits. Very much similar problem with all series and defender models. But seriously though find out why it was drowned at birth. There was a load of damaged landrovers suffer on container ship that listed Southampton on a sandbank a few years back. If there rust or corrosion at any point you've got a large paper weight. Being a very new type of vehicle by Victoria Beckham range replacement parts will be beyond most novice pockets. Might be worth look as stripping for parts.

They're not that new any more. They first appeared before our disgusted eyes 7yrs ago. Parts are cheap in comparison to even the Sport, let alone FFRR, of the same vintage.
Given the location of the OP I fail to see why he would buy one from Japan or worse still try to repair one that had met with it's deserved fate.

You have maybe gathered from the reply`s so far @J.shah that this might not be the best place to ask about your car, at the risk of getting sent to coventry (or worse still blackpool) I suggest you take a look over on fullfatrr bottom of main page there is mention of a forum for your car. (and I never mentioned the name of said vehicle once, arent I good)

Well well, i wasn't expecting even a single response, guess what there are tons & you guys are hilarious as hell.
I Read all the comments etc, thanks for all the fun stuff :)

Ive no clue how the car got into water,
Owner told the dealer that he went for fishing, xD

Anyways, guys i still wanted to know how many ECUs are in the car?
:)
