HELP - Need a 200 disco engine shipped to Portugal!

Hello gents!!

Need some help...

Im currently on hols in Portugal, btw its fokin hot here and the beach has been lovely lol

Anyway, my uncle has a disco 200tdi over here, imaculate, not even a spot of rust..

coming down from Lisbon to the Algarve with 40 degrees heat, it overheated and died..
recovered back to Lisbon to his mechanic, the word is the engine has completly melted, the mech says he has never seen anything like this...


So.. here I am trying to find an engine for him!
stuff over here is too expensive, just to give an idea, a 93 disco 200 is sold for about 5k eur!

So I thought about getting an engine back in England and ship it to him over here...

Now... as anyone done this before? (you guys that live in spain, etc?)
What is the likely cost of shipping an engine over?

and does anyone have/know of a good 200tdi engine for sale?

I have 2 200's here in PT. Cost of shipping varies from 195 to 275 - aslong as you are prepared to wait!!! i drive mine down in complete vehicles that way i can put a warranty on them bought a 300 off ebay a while back and threw it in my trailer, fitted it into a customers car - engine ****ed - so will not be buying engines/gearboxes on the floor again

Im down in the Algarve at the moment, my uncle is from Carcavelos, and Im from Lisbon, but he´s in Angola at the moment, but he will be back to Portugal in 2 weeks.

My uncle disco is at his mechanic near Ajuda in Lisbon..

where abouts in Portugal are you from and how much would be for a disco 200 engine?

I might have to get him in contact with you as im back to Lisbon on the 15th but fly back to england on the 18th
