HELP!! My sreen blowers int blowing, but fan seems to be??

Good Morning All!

Im after some help seeing where I is going!

The Landy in question is my J plate 1992 Disco V8 3.5 EFI manual.

The problem being is that I cant get any air up through the vents for demisting the srceen, this is a big problem when I through a couple of wet dogs and myself in the car!! .

The air comes out of the 4 vents that are in the front of the dash no problem, other than its cold! The lever that selects the demist seems to be working ok, and I can see it pulling the flap up and down. but there doesnt seem to be any air being supplied to the flap area?? The car has Air-con and that works fine, out of the vents in the front of dash at least? and I can here a fan wizzing around, my question is, does this car have 2 fans, one for Air-con (Front Vents) and one for screen and feet air? I cant see any blown fues, unless theres more than one fuse box?

Any suggestions/help would be greatly apprieciated!

Unfortunately it seems u have a problem with the control flap operation mechanism......it's a remove the whole dashboard kind of job to fix it

I had a horrible feeling someone was going to say that! :doh: Lovely! Oh well, I know what I'll be doing over the weekend then! Fun times!

If u dont have RAVE download it and u'll see there the description, operation and the repair procedure of the whole thing ......anyway make sure that it's no other way to fix it first.

Not sure but I believe i'm correct in that just like my RRC the flaps are vacuum controled, if so check the hose that goes through the bulk head to the servo on the heater box.
I forget what it is called but do you have the round black vacuun ball fixed to the inner wing that's part of the system as the hose starts there, also u can just see the hose under the dash.
