Help! Brake union series 11a

Hello folks,

I'm a newbie here and I need some advice.
What are the correct size brake pipe to wheel cylinder unions for the rear wheels of a swb series 2? The Workshop manual doesn't help, and Paddocks etc don't seem to stock any. My local Land Rover specialist (4muddyboots, in Morpeth) couldn't help either. I suspect they are 3/16 pipe to 3/8 on the cylinder. Am I right? and where do I get some?

Thanks in advance, Oh learned Ones. The old barge stays up on stands until I've sorted this out.

pipe is 3/16" onions are 3/8" UNF

COPPER BRAKE PIPE UNIONS 3/8" UNF x 24TPI female on eBay (end time 05-Jun-10 15:34:11 BST)

Wow! That was quick. Thanks Sean. Call me a dolt if you like, but do I just need the female unions or one of each on each pipe. I have never had anything to do with brakes before.

Job done and brakes safely road tested today. Ridiculously, I am quite proud, even made and flared brake pipes myself. Thanks
