I’ve just come across this forum for land rovers, and really appreciate any ideas on what the f*** is wrong with my td5. It’s losing power and cutting sometimes starts straight up sometimes have to crank it 10 times. I had it to 3 different mechanics had fuel pump changed, tank dropped and cleaned and O ring injectors done after the injectors we’re done it seemed perfect for a few days then back to normal. Pump is whining when the ignition is turned on. Any ideas anyone?

Healthy pump will whine for minute with ignition. they start to sound 'sad' when they get old
