Hi, thought I'd better introduce myself instead of lurking.

I am Mike...I used to own a Defender until it got wrote off when someone used me as brakes! Don't own a Landy at the minute but am looking to put that right.


In the meantime I'm just looking at all the threads and finding my feet again.


Are you a friendly bunch?

I seem to remember from a few years ago that there were one or two forums out there that had some very short tempered people on there but, having said that, I think that can be said of any forum!

Yep, friendly is mayby not what I would call it but if you want quick and good answers you are on the right place.:welcome2:
Also if ya want to learn a few words in english which are impossible to find in a dictionary!:D
 
Chortle, yes, I can take a joke and have thick skin so thanks for the pre-warning.

I just wish I had a Land Rover so I can bother you with dumb questions but that'll have to wait!

Tell me about it! I took the mick out of someone who asked how to reset faults on a Merc., he was told to turn the sterring lock to lock until the fault cleared at which point I waded in in full sarcasm mode.


Turns out it's true! I'll get me coat...


Anyway, as said, I am looking for a Defender and thought I'd introduce myself first.

Looks a good site!
