Hello just joined this forum, just bought a land rover discovery 3.9 efi not my first landy as i did used to have a p38 range rover but this is my first PROPER landy.

Yeahh probably was haha, erm not sure havent driven it yet got oil pressure problems, and yes it was very cheap only £200

At least a grand in parts, thats enough for a p38

yes was very cheap but it has got problems oil pressure problems to be exact... BUT it is all solid and it all works well apart from the oil pump haha

You sure its the pump, not just a sensor issue?

Hi there I'm new to but welcome also to a fellow v8 owner, have you fixed the oil pressure problem yet? It is a common problem with Rover v8s to have rubbish oil pressure but RPI tuning do a high pressure gear set to cure that problem

i dont know what the problem is yet i havent inspected it yet... when i get some spare time in the week or the weekend i will see...
