Hello guys, thinking of swapping my car for a defender

Hi guys, Ive decided to get a 4x4, Originally wanted a to swap my car for a navara or an L200 but now im looking at defenders.

Ive seen this one Land Rover : defender 90 300tdi. on and offroader says hes got no history etc only what he knows of it, thats its had a new clutch and a 300 engine fitted at some point, he's just checking an insurance quote then were going from there...

My cars a 2002 golf GT TDI 130 PD 3 dr silver with 70k one previous owner FSH etc etc

I was wondering what peoples view is on this swap/that defender?

if it were me selling that fender i would want yr car and £1k cash

the year of manufacture is irrellivant your golf will depreciate quickly the defender will always command good money

Looking at golf prices, you should be able to do a pretty much straight swap - maybe a couple of hundred quid their way but not much more!

Check the chassis carefully - it isn't galvie and on a car that old it will be starting to look a bit shot.

Says in the add it's a Jeep, looks like a Fender to me
