Hello from Paul in Oz

Hello to all in the UK, main reason for corresponding at the moment is to acertain if the latest Defenders with the 2.4 ford transit engine are working out to be as good as the td5. I'm looking at possibly purchasing a new Defender later this year, but have heard the latest model is not turning out to be too reliable? Can any body pass on some info on possible faults and if the latest 09 models have been sorted.
