Hi, just bought a 55 plate XEi as a second car. It's in very good condition with a pretty comprehensive service history but I'm going to check out the head gasket, cam belt, water pump, VCU and anything else folk advise me too.
The only fault I have found so far is the HRW is not working. Light comes on with the switch, rear door is shut and the window is fully up. I'm going to check fuse first, relay (is it behind fuse box ?) and then take the trim off the door and check the contacts. Anything else ?
ps. also a MG nut and have a 1972 MGB & 1972 Midget.
