Hello From Essex

Hi Guys and Girls,

I am Dan from essex and hopeing to get into off roading and hopeing to own a landrover.

Hopeing to get a Landrover Series 1/2/3 for around£1000 as it will be my first landRover.

I have driven one before and loved every second of it. So i have given up motorbikes and me and a friend gonna buy one each for a toy and have some Landy Fun.

hope to get some good advise and tips and tricks for when im buying and for future. The site looks great and attracted me out of any other forum. Nice to meet you

Indeed he is mate, we both wanna get into it have a laugh off roading just as a toy nothing crazy. want a mechinally sound one and strong but not in cosmetic superb condition as we can then do them up make them what we want. "Paint them tart the insides up etc etc"

Do you have any advise for us?

D71 is normally referred to as the al murray of LZ ... grumpy bastid too but harmless
