Hello and help required please

I'm new to the forum and was hoping there would be someone who might be able to help us.

I currently own a Freelander 2 which had a number of issues. My partner has just done some work to Servicing the Haldex and the rear diff, replacing bearings etc.

As well as all that the DSC warning light came one and a message said that all special programs had been switched off.

During completing the work we couldn't open the car and, when he checked the battery it was down to 10%. He has charged the battery and the car is now back on the road but the warning light is still showing and the battery does not seem to be holding a full charge.

Could is just be a replacement battery required which is causing the warning light to come on? Or do we potentially have other issues.

Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated.

Look at the alternator..It runs the electrical and charges the battery
