Hello! Advice needed.

Hi All, new member here.
I bought my first ever Rangy yesterday.
2008 Vogue SE 3.6TDV8.
Happy as Larry with the car yesterday other than the central locking didn’t work of the fob. There was however a new fob battery and case came with the car. I changed the battery in the fob last night and still the central locking didn’t work despite using the Ingnition on off, and button press sequence. Car still started fine though.
So I got up this morning and suddenly the fob was working to unlock the car but now the car won’t start or even turn over. The radio/tv works, seats move, wipers work but no other lights on dash other than the green display at the bottom. Bought a brand new battery today in case the car had been sat for a while. Still nothing. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Cheers

^^^^ what he said, @GeordieTDV8 but if you swapped the case as well as the battery did you swap the transponder over? if not I hope you still have the old case
