Heater direction control cable?

Hi all,

When swapping my dash last year I messed up the cable which is attached to the back of the centre dial on the heater controls (the one which changes where the air comes out of) and it has gradually got more and more bent to the point that you can't really change the direction of the air at all.

Does anyone know of a part number for this? I can't see any breaker bothering to strip one out of a car just for me so I may be forced to try the dealers.

Ok so what makes you think they are listed with a part number? as they aren't in my D1 parts catalogue.

Just hope and desperation really. Not sure how I'm going to come across one.
