From the drawings I've attached, you should be able to see that tere is a single fuse for both seat heaters, fuse F15 (20 Amp) on the passenger's compartment fuse board below the steering wheel.
The power feed from there splits off to each seat heater switch and from there to the module under each seat. The power from the heater module is fed to the heater elements, the seat cushion and the seat back or squab are wired in series. The thermostat monitors the seat cushion temperature and controls the activity of the heater module.
Thinking about faults which could affect both seats, they could only be in the "Auxilliary circuits relay", the 20 amp fuse or the ground connection.
Don't disregard the possibility that both seats have gone faulty individually. The areas to consider there would be both heater elements gone faulty, or both thermostats. If you're unlucky then it could even be both heater modules.

Buzz out the seat elements i expect they have a break in them simple fix this was our drivers seat a week ago

That looks suspiciously like a near miss of a fire!
No. I have bought the car summertime, checked the heating and found them out of order. Asked the previus owner about it. He has told both were ok during last winter. To be honets I have not cared much about it until now. If it can be fixed easily I will do if not I will leave them.

Yeah but its a common type of failure for heated seats of this age which is why they all moved over to the new type elements non metal wire type.

mine was like this replaced the element (RIGHT PAIN TO DO!!) and now is hot
I could not go too far with the investigation yet, just checked one thing today. I have started the check from the heating element and measured the voltage on the C0969 connector. I have measured between CAV 1 and 4 and found 12 volts with the heat switch on. Was my measurement correct and does it mean that the heater element has gone?
