Heated rear window element

Can anyone recommend a good repair kit for the above? I've checked older posts, but nothing up to date. Failing repair, is it possible to buy a new rear window for 2006 Freelander 1 TD4, 3 door.

The only repair "kit" for heated screens is a paint which is loaded with silver:-

Thanks for your reply. I was after someone who has used a heater repair kit to see if the results were worth the money. I've looked at quite a few and most of the reviews are not good.

Many years ago in my RR days and paid around £5 for the stuff then, but it did work in bridging the circuit in two areas, the only thing was I could see the repair externally being a silver-light gray-ish colour.

Fit new glass. The repair goo is crap and only works if you have one or two visible breaks, if there any more, or ones you cant see its a waste of time. Plus its messy as all hell and just looks ****e once youve done it.

You can pick up new glass for £30 - £80 i cant imagine its that tought to fit.

Have you got glass cover on the insurance, if its cheaper might it get broke and a new one fitted
