Been on cleaning my Headliner for my rebuild. Its in decent nick very solid / rigid, not coming away from the mould.
Went to try the front part today Only got a few of clips in to hold it, as waiting on some new ones to arrive, .
Anyway once up it is still sagging in the middle, not the material but the whole thing, Is this normal ? as all holes line up although the front ones above windscreen are a pain to get in.

Mine did that, got some fir trees and added more into the cross struts in the roof. Mine is external ribbed.

You'll be talking about fitting carpet next - pigs don't mind whether your tratter has carpet or not.
Just done that, not the neatest but it aint a show truck its a workhorse , well will be when its finished ;)

what carpet is that?! I didn’t want carpet in mine but now I’ve cleaned n welded bulkhead I hope I’ve found any weak points

I took my headliner out & fibre glassed the top side then recovered it.
Did the middle go up OK or did it still sag ?

Got it given off a bloke last week, he does repairs in post offices and it was on the floor in the door way of one, very hard wearing stuff, should last a good while.

No sagging at all, if its really bad id put a smallish bit of timber across then glass over it (after a layer of glass)

I drilled some extra holes in the central roof support, added 3 extra clips.

Thought about that but there's no where to drill on mine.

Theres a good 3 inch gap where it sags in the middle, would rather have it fastened right up to the roof, think the glue should work but might be a bit tricky getting things in place as it sticks really fast.

Take the roof off then glue it & lay the head lining down on it rather that trying to hold it up.

OMG, Theirs no way that things coming off again, was hard enough getting it fitted on my own, Will get the glue on and a couple of clips either side and take pot luck.
One thing ive just thought of, there is an overlap at one end where the 4 holes are on the front and back pieces , on pic, so I take it that these go on first then the middle section goes on last. I THINK if you know what I mean.

Could use some HD velcro
Think that's a great Idea Mate, as Thers plenty of room to get my hands in at the moment, as its only fitted at the front at sun visors which I completely forgot about till someone reminded me.
Anyway still sagging but think if I glue it and need it out again for some reason Ill have to rip it out then, so will try and get some good Velcro stuff.

I see your getting there with it, good idea with the Velcro though.

Just a thought I wonder if this box thingy is holding it off, the headliner is not cut out for it but you can see where it pushes on to it.
