Headlights stopped working on Freelander 1 2004

Last night my headlights main beam stopped working both of them, checked fuses under steering wheel all fine. At the same time a brake went and rear lights. I’ve fixed these. Does anyone think it’s a bad earth causing these all to go at same time.

Unlikely to be an earth, as both front lights use a different earth point, and all lights in each lamp unit share that earth, so if dip, side and indicators are working, then the earth is sound.

There is a main beam relay, which is common to both sides, so that's the place to start looking.
