Freelander 1 Headlamp bulbs

I know I’m asking plenty of questions recently, but thanks for your patience.

What is the specification for the side lights (turn one on the light stall)? I know I use H7 477 bulbs for the main beam, but can’t pin down what I need for the side lights and one has blown.

Additionally, does anyone know the bulb required for the centre console so I can see my heater controls in the dark?

The side light bulb is a standard 5W capless, normally known as a 501.

Thanks, have you had any experience with the LED replacements that claim to be canbus ready? They don’t seem to be a lot more money and seem a bit brighter than the current bulb.

In my experience, the side light bulbs are too close to the dip beam bulbs. This causes the LEDs to overheat and fail very quickly. Also so call CAN BUS LEDs contain resistors across the supply, which makes the LEDs even hotter, sometimes hot enough to de-solder the components.
