hawkeye for xmas :D

hello i bought my dad a hawkeye for xmas and was woundering if there is any tips u could give us ....

we have emailed ometec for the unlock code and was wounder how to do the following :

1 take the 3 amigos off
2 when the car moves the locks lock as this has been disabled
3. if we can set the frnt window heated screen on and what button to get as we havent got one but we have a frnt heated wondow ?? its all for a disco 2 td5 2002

Don't know out about Hawkeye but as for yer heated front window I had one on mine that the previous owner had fitted afterwards. He fitted the switch next to the rear heated window switch?

Is your dad the vehicles first owner? If not my guess is the window has been replaced at some time and autoglass/whoever has just fitted a heated one as that's all they had/didn't know what was fitted and erred on the side of caution.

It could have been factory fitted but wasn't requested by first purchaser/sold without option and is most likely not wired up either else there would be a switch.

Hi first of all download this http://www.bearmach.com/downloads/Diagnostic/User Manual.pdf

Read cearefully all applications and see the menus

1. select ABS then "clear DTC's" ...dont bother if the abs light stays on after that...it'll go off when u'll exceed 5mph

2. select BCU > programming.....use the down arrow untill u reach the desired feature, select it then activate/deactivate it as u wish.

3. i think when u'll select "heated front screen" (in the BCU menu) hawkeye will tell u if fitted or not....did u check under the bonnet, is the screen plugged? The heated front screen switch must be near the hazard switch...if it isnt then mr.The_Big_P has a point there

ok cheers guys i will pass the info on to my dad ... but he hasnt recieved the code yet from omtec as we dnt no wen it opens haah so he cant use it yet lol

we got it now any ways and managed to sort all the thinks apart frm front window as we need a switch !!

any ways im in hull if any one needs anything from it
