Disco 2 Hawkeye arrived today

Had a missfire last week then started running on 4 checked injector loom and ecu, etc for oil, Have run test on injectors all fired clicked ok have today removed all injectors seals old but nothing obvious i have another set of black top injectors which i will fit with new seals and washers tomorrow am i missing any thing obvious?

No fault codes logged?

yes it knows the egr valves not used 3144. 3129 road speed missing 3143 turbo overboost. injectors fitted today would not start purged once. now charging battery while i have dinner have not been able to download manual but managed to re-code replacement injectors ran badly before injector change now wont start will re-purge 3mins ignition on then hold down throttle is this ok?

Your misfire is probably the over boost fault logged, ecu cuts fuel if you exceed the set level of boost

To purge turn ignition on then pump gas pedal 5 times rapidly, it should then start the self purge procedure

Have just done the pedal purge twice light flashed for about 4/5 mins. then ignition on 30sec off 15sec 6 times can hear pump going on and off. should i clear codes and try again?

Did you connect the engine harness to the injector loom while the cover was off and holded the injector loom against the plug? cos if not it's possible to be bad contact there.

yes exactly as you said before closing up also read then reprogrammed the injectors the pump seems to run when you do either purge and you force it with hawkeye if it was my old faithful 200 i would say it had no diesel have now cleared fault codes maybe i should go back to basics replace filter charged battery overnight about to re-purge will let you know many thanks

have now changed filter ran pump with filter off healthy flow of fuel re-primed nothing. going to remove return at fuel cooler see what comes out when pump is on. at the moment lost for words
