I've gotta start the job tomorrow. I was gonna do the job over the hols buuuut, I wound up in hospital on Christmas Day with a swollen head and a vile infection. Spent 4 days in there and the rest convelescing at home. Plus I've been under the watchful eye of the Ayathollah who says I can't go out to play till I'm better.

I've just had a stinking cold & an ear infection since boxing day (pales a bit compared to your misfortune!), but it has stopped me fitting me spanking new stainless steel snorkel, changing my radiator & fan belt & a host of other stuff I wanted to get done over the hol's. Having no garage, having to do it all in the street & rain or ice (no snow down here at least) hasn't exactly inspired me to get on with it neither! One day left & then back to work........Hmmmm, it ain't gonna happen!

What you at? Full, like full rebuild?

Hi Marcus,
Its the gearbox saga. I want to change everything over from me kapputt box, tranny brake, mountings and levers etc tomorrow then get the bugger in asap. Me Rover aint shifted since early October but thats been down to funding and demanding elderly relatives (time consumption). Yeah I have to work outside as well but at least I'm off the road.

Gotta get on with it soon though regardless of pettycoat interference and house rules mate. I keep reminding her and I quote "Only ever consider yourself to be the current Mrs WP"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. It works a bloody treat chap.

Sounds like you've got your hands full! Best of' with it. There's nothing worse than yer Landy sitting incapacitated. Here's to mild weather & no rain in Derbyshire tomorrow then.
