Handbreak sticking :-S

Ok so ive done a search. ive took a look an tryed all the suggestions. but still have a problem.

ive replaced the pistons in the drum and a new handbreak cable. when i move the gater off the handbreak and let the break off, the cable goes in but then it just bends up. it dosnt go all the way like it should. its a pain not having a handbreak but when its fixed ill sure miss it serving me well as a leg rest.
