Handbrake cable LHD/RHD

I have an LHD TD5 and my new X-eng disc-brake kit just arrived. I didn´t realise there was an LHD and an RHD hand-brake cable.

I ordered NRC5088 RHD as sopposed to NRC5089 LHD. What is the difference? From pictures online the only difference I could see is the length by 7cm according to this link. Can I use NRC5088?

length is the difference, it cant be too long but can be too short
