Halfshaft Question??

Are the one piece rear halfshafts as found on the disco 1 interchangeable with the ones with the separate drive flange as found on 90's? Obviously assuming the diff end splines are matching for the diff.

At a guess I would say they would be interchangeable as you say so long as the diff splines match since as far as I know they're the same length and everything.

That's what I thought just wondered if anyone had the definitive answer.
