Half Hazard

Sorting lights for soon to be MOT. All indicator lamps working but when hazard switched on only the OS lamps work but all can be made to flash if left indicator is switched on on the stalk.
Hazard switch [ the usual cause of many indicator problems ] swapped out, new flasher unit fitted but still the same. Not a problem I have come across before.
1990 Ninety. Any ideas ? Thanks.

Try changing the relay

I would check you have not pushed the connection pin back on the switch connecting plug

Have you fitted LED dash lamps ?

You could be on to something there mystery, will check.
miktdish I did fit led dash lamps years ago, they were a pain in the arse and went back to standard. Only led I now have is the light in the temp gauge, the only one that still works. [ think led's were a cheap and nasty ebay set ]

I would say check fuse but as 1/2 is working it’s getting some power.
Does you motor have that earth cable onto the side of the hazard switch?

GOLD STAR for MYSTERY, spot on there. I had fitted a new hazard switch some weeks ago after the original fell to bits but had not noticed the LH lamps were not working until the other day when we had to tow our Focus back home after it left all its coolant in Tesco car park.
