hi all fitted new radio to a td4 02 comercial van on saturday not tried the horn for a while went to pushh the horn tonight and nothing checked fues in engine bay and that was ok any help would be good would fitting new radio have some think to do with it many thanks

parp!!!!!!....will that do
 
broken wire on the push switch, horn itself goosed, relay shot, bad earth. not really a lot to a horn circuit,if ya have a multimeter then ya check if your getting 12v at the horn, if not start working your way back to find where your losing power:D
 
i think it only stopped working since fitting radio oh and we went off road lamping in it sunday night wheres the relay for it also cant seem to locate the horn did the door test where u leave open then lock car and the horn went to say door open i got no other lights showing on the dash when engine running it dose all the bulb checks ok

Relay is one of the two small ones in engine compartment fusebox. I think they are both the same (horn and AC relays) so you can swop them over to test. Not likely that both horn switches have failed together or that both horns have failed so it's probably a circuit fault, possibly rotary coupler on steering column.
 
hope it not the rotary coupler thats 170 pounds from dealer mine not got air con woul dfitting anew radico at the weekend have caused my promblem

That's a plus for the tractor boys, they can't have this kind of problem, they can't install a radio at all. Too noisy lump. Period.
 
so no one got any idea on this one if the old radio is not connected the horn dont work connect it and all works put new radio in and radio works but no horn theres a black and white wire from the oringal harness but there is no connctor for it on the new iso connector
