As the title, I am getting a grinding noise and a jolting movement and then the amber warning light flashes when travelling around bends.
My brake pads were a bit low so I decided to change them but this has not worked.

Could someone tell me what sort of problem I have?

Thanks in advance.

Does yours have the active cornering roll bar system?? If so check the oil level quick!!

Got no idea, how would I tell if its the cornering roll bar system?

I cannot see another reservoir next to the power steering reservoir.

Ok, I think I have found the problem.
Button on the dash DSC ( drivers stability control) this is always on from start up.
Turning the DSC off stopped the noise and juddering when turning.

But why has this just decided to happen, something has triggered it?

Thanks

DSC is a safety system that operates via the ABS braking system.

The first thing I would be doing is to check brake pads all round and replace as necessary.

Then I would be checking for any play in each of the 4 wheel bearings.

It's most likely play in the wheel bearings causing the sys to malfunction, get it sorted soon as or you will damage the system

The sensors are picking up wheel movement but as you corner the air gaps in the sensors will change giving false reading to the DSC it thinks your having too much fun and starts working and they do make some awful noise when they start to operate I think they make them sound like that to add to the drama if your having a wooooooow **** moment

I can use larger head gaskets in order

Seriously what the fcuk are you up to......9 posts all the same statement and on threads that make no sense?

His post made half sense on me 454 thread....then I noticed it on a light bar thread

tried to report it but by the time I pressed the button it said he was gone :p

It's always the same, first post makes sense then gets repeated all over.....always a ref to asda or asdas in their profile.

If I had something other than my phone I'd devote some time to chasing the ****er down:violent:

Problem solved, noticed a rear tyre was slightly flat, pumped it up, sorted.
DSC button is on and working, all wheel bearings are fine.
