Hi all,

It has been a while since i've been on here as i haven't really had anything go wrong with my defender in... well... ages!

But anyway that's a different story now as I've gone out and bought myself a 53 plate Discovery Td5 because i fancied something that was a bit more motorway friendly. I am eager to get a replacement exhaust for it as i'm craving the sound that the Td5 creates and have been quite taken to the appearance of Griffin Performance's twin exit system.

Land Rover, TD5, Discovery, 300 TDi Stainless Steel Exhaust Systems | Griffin Performance

My question is simply have any of you had any experience with Griffin Performance? And if I'm lucky enough maybe a judgement of their twin exit system from someone that has purchased it?

I had a chat with them at Billing this year and all their products look very well made but i can't find much in the line of reviews here on the internet.

Cheers

Cameron

Hey there,

Old thread but I'm curious to know if you went for the exhaust and if so, how'd it go?

VERY expensive for what they are. You should be able to get one made for less.

Than or get a stainless down pipe (£80), stainless bullet mid box (£120) or straight thru (£60) and it'll sound just as good!

Anything that is bespoke is expensive :) which Griffin exhaust are, they have been in business a while I nearly purchased one of their products for my disco as they do look nice... when new... but could find them in Kent and although they are very well built they still have the push one pipe into another pipe connection, which I'm not keen on... so went and got a Janspeed system, single pipe cat back system just how the disco left the factory and fitted it my self.
