My name is Mutty from Hayes I own a Landrover Freelander 1.8l 2004 has been giving me some problems when I start the engine I can hear a cluttering sound under the engine. When driving it today after 15 miles the engine lost power and went off the oil light came on the dash board. The oil level is ok between high and low mark on the oil dip stick. Had a hard start after I let it rest for some 10-20 minutes I managed to start and move with it on slow speed oil light went off what could be the problem on loss of engine power recently bought new spark plugs changed the oil and filter some 2 months ago.
