Hiya all,

Green laning day/few hours, Saturday 25th June, starting about 10am ish, maybe 11, finishing 4pm ish, maybe earlier, maybe later, see what happens ..around and about Rugby/The Midlands etc. All types of vehicle welcome as it's non-scratchy, though we might get some new growth bushy leaves. There will be a ford, there will be a bit of mud, but nothing that we can't get you through, or indeed show you how to get around if you're not confident!

One small caveat ... you need to join in the LZ meeting ... https://www.landyzone.co.uk/land-ro...26th-june-everything-you-need-to-know.296512/ .. ;)

A great weekend of fun, frolics, Landies and Laning ... ;)

Unfortunately I couldn't make the last trip, but I'm wondering if anyone fancies a little outing one weekend before the year is over. I'm still unfamiliar with most the lanes around Rugby, but so long as lanes are open, we could always use the route you did last time.

Just reviving this thread as I live in Rugby (at the end of a greenlane as it happens) and I did really fancy trying to do a bit more laning at some point soon.

Anyone else up for it? Not looking to wreck my vehicle, drive like a muppet, annoy locals, other motorists or similar, however some sensible courteous laning would be a bit of a laugh.

If you put @Grim in your post you'll help get his attention;)

Never realised you could tag people......I do now!! .
I'm definitely up for doing some lanes (this weekend is a no go though), although ideally, I could probably do with some new tyre's first. I don't really know many lanes around Rugby, however, 110woman and a few others did the recc'ing for the LZ routes, so could either ask them to join and lead us, or get the route.

@Hard-Drive , I've currently got the three amigos to sort, but hopefully getting the parts I need imminently. Once I've fitted them and got everything running nicely, I'll see about organising a day out. Failing that, if you're on Facebook, look up M.G.L.S., top group that I'm in, and have regular days out.

Thanks @Grim...just asked to join on FB and awaiting acceptance. Thanks!

Sam, who runs it can be fairly busy, but he's usually on line through out the day, so he'll most likely approve your request soon. If he asks, let him know Grimm (or Ian) told you about the group and he'll add you.

They are a good bunch.

Cheers

For sure!!! I'll be looking forward to having my abs sorted and getting back out again. Last couple of trips out, Sam's ridden shotgun, sods law, his truck is back in action, and mine's now poorly :(

If you get stuck for a nanocom, then I am only in Banburyshire. I went out with the group last year in my 90 softtop. Sam did ask if I was going to be able to come and play next month but I have a wee bit of welding to do and a bush or so to change so cannot guarantee it.

Cheers

Cheers for the offer, I may well take you up on it. I should really get a Nanocom of my own, it'd be handy when I have to bleed the abs system due to the 'power bleed' function, then of course making sure the replacement is set up properly.
Thankfully it's all timed nicely with the tax expiring this month.
Well, the day out Sam's planned for the 10th June, I was going to be his passenger, but I'm not going to be able to make it (i need to let him know), but I really wanted to get out driving on that one.
