Hi all, First please forgive my ignornace...

I've just purchased my first Defender 90 td5 2000 model its standard apart from some shinny disco wheels and mud terrain tyres took 37 years but i got there..
i would like to take it green laning, nothing to heavey as its far to shinney for any of the rough stuff plus being a complete novice dony really want to get stuck...

You might laugh at this bit:) i live just outside wirksworth nr malock in the derbyshire dales, Peak District... i know.... i know... there is about a million trails and lanes..... But were do i start like i say im a complete novice and would'nt want to start by driving straight up someones drive.... ;)

All your help and mainly your ADVICE on were to start would be greatly received....

Have you thought of joining your local club? You will get lots of advice and possible invites to greenlaning events.
