I sought advise using the forum recently and read with great interest the only real way to sort out my loose washer jet on my 90 was removal of top dash.

Not only advise on the basic removal but a great tip about adding a second jet by moving the centre one to the blanking holes for a LHD model. As i had decided to remove the radio pod and this required at least the left hand side of dash being loose,i decided to do the whole job(Radio-washer jets and install some better dash lighting).

Best part of a cold Saturday but very rewarding and the dual washer jets work a treat. For those with the single centre jet,you really are missing out!
All i need now is a way to stop the windscreen misting up!

I love the 90 but do miss the aircon and modern heating system i had on my car,of course i could not carry a trailer around with logs on through a muddy wood or smirk when driving in the recent snow when all about were getting stuck, neither can i have that satisfaction of driving something that is a little unique and some may say slightly eccentric.the 90 parked on the drive with my recently added raised air intake and rear work light just makes you feel so damn lucky to finally have a Defender 90.

It's the defender feeling. You'll be pleased to know that no matter how long you have the vehicle the feeling is still the same. Whether you want to or not you tend to have an immotional bond with your landy. It becomes part of the family.
