got splinters from scratching my head......

Side lights work at the front. Tail lights work on the bumpers on the back but with the tail/break light pod either side of the rear door? nothing. just brake lights... Fuses are in but no side lights.. anyone got any clues? Also no horn..... they are there they seem to be wired the fuse is ok the hazards work but no horn?
I can get by as I have done for months as it is but its a real niggle..... and I am sure one out there is going to laugh and tell me what a burk I am for not spotting something simple..... well.. go on then.. let s all have a laugh ......oh and I am still on the look out for a turbo for a 300tdi

This may sound silly not all 300 had side lights in rear pillars have you checked that they have bulbs in and are the correct filaments to work also the horn does it work if you put a live feed to it if so have you taken the steering wheel off and cheked the contacts either side the horn just prises out the middle,hope this helps tiga

the wheel is a huge pad with sbs printed on it so i assume its hiding the air bag in there , not found a way of getting into it yet and dont want to set off the air bag by disturbing it but if anyone knows how its done. i am all ears.

someone wrote about having a spare turbo but i lost his number. its pig slow with only half sized turbo blades .....

the rear bulbs have both filaments in and the pod seems to have three brass contacs one for each and a return presumably but maybe there is no live feed to one side? maybe i can get a wire i up from th e bumper and set them up that way ...? where do i get the letters from there id no tdi or Discovery lettering on the rear door .... wont make it go and faster or use less fuel but its another niggle...
