Hi Landyzone
I'm completely new to this game so be patient.
I live in France and have a defender TD5, 2.5 litre diesel, first registered in the UK in 2000.
I love it and it is a great work horse but it has cost a fortune along the way.
My current problem is that the glow lamp doesn't always switch on and therefore won't start.
The mechanic had it for 2 weeks, then an auto electrician for 5 days, both without success.
I've got to the stage now that I turn the key and wait anywhere between 2 and 10 minutes before the glow lamp lights up and I can start the car. Very frustrating when in a hurry.
Any ideas anyone? Please note that I am not mechanical or auto electrically minded, so need step by step simple instructions.
