We've got a Discovery 3 2.7 in for HPFP replacement and while engine is stripped have decided to try and remove glow plugs. We'd been spraying them with release oil for about four days prior to putting a socket on them.... guess what, they've all come out no problem...

Hi

Ur very very lucky as they normally snap

Hats off to u mate for getting them out in one piece :D

Plus , plse don’t forget the belts and oil pump cover on there, assume there going to also fit s new rear belt when they do the HPFP

Hi..was a worry first turn, but kept spraying the threads. A couple were a bit tight but came out, has saved us loads of work.. yeah we are fitting new belts, tensioner, etc. I didn't want to take the job on in the first place as have read what a pain they are... also we don't normally work on the small stuff, we work on HGV's and Plant....
