Cheap glow plugs are bad news, especially it seems in these engines. They either don't heat up sufficiently or die very quickly. Stick to Delphi, NGK or Bosch.

:D

If you pull a cheap plug out, it will probably break as your doing it... so your in a whole heap of hurt, and cursing why you didn't spend the extra £ instead of 1/2 a day getting the crap ones out, get good makes, it pays in the end

thanks all stick to ngk think/also supermarket diesel crap in cold weather .but esso .bp ect .just touch the key /perfect/no smoke no missing no craking and it sounds sweet.i know its been covered, but any one wi poor start and running start wi quality diesel .

Sorry to say this, but i know for a fact esso and tesco come out of the same refinery, i seen them

doint be sorry .might be something they add and (tesco ect) doint/mines just seems to start better and have more power.even more so in winter.thats when i buy the good stuff.might be supermarket stuff waxes in winter no detergent stuff.
