Getting rid of the smell of EP90...

I bought a replacement centre section headlining for my 110 yesterday at the Newbury sortout. However, to my dismay on the way home I realised that it stinks of EP90...I'm guessing some has leaked onto it in the trader's van.

It's fairly localised at one end, a visible patch of the stuff that has soaked into the brown backing panel So, what is the best stuff to remove it with? Vinegar? Bleach? I'm not worried about damaging the visible part, as I will be removing all of the headlining material itself on all three panels and be replacing it with new black material.

I'd carefully try flushing it with brake cleaner assuming that doesn't affect the substrate.

Either that or coat the rest of the vehicle and your house with ep90 so you get used to the smell.

Cat p1ss and road kill badger applied liberally.

It won't get rid of the smell but will improve it considerably.

I wouldn't do anything with it till you've removed the material, then try a small bit at a time to see what removes it.

I wouldn't remove it at all, I love the smell!!!

If it has stained the headlining I suspect a decent airing will get rid. If it has stained then the source of the smell will remain.

Wipe it down with a small, very soggy furry animal.
Remember to have a good first aid kit handy if you use a feline variety!

I maybe spilt best part of a can of derv in the back of one of works fenders on Friday. Stunk this morning, we put a stove in there all day burning and the smell has mostly gone. Wet, greasy ply hasn't but you can't have everything.
