Hi All , any ideas as to manual gear lever starting to stick , when going down through the gears . All good going up etc . Mainly going from 5 down to 4 . Lever feels like would stay in the middle of 5 to 6 gap in the gate if that makes sense . Coming out of 5 by pushing the lever forward then left , it would stick if not pushed to the left etc . Like no spring to assist it in the gate . Apologies if not explained properly. Any help appreciated.

Check it's not getting snarled up in the engine buy by a loom or something. also give the joint a spray of silicon or grease

Many thanks Artic2 appreciate the pictures showing the joint etc . Will also have a look in engine bay as I had to have a new steering rack fitted a couple of weeks ago . Not sure if this would have had any effect ?
Thanks again for your reply

no problem ,let us know if you solve the issue.
Hi all , have checked under the console and sprayed greased the gear selector ball in the housing ,also the there was a chrome rod which I sprayed as well . On moving the selector you could see the rod moving in & out etc .Under the bonnet you can see the selector rods x2, both sprayed etc and the results are all good & working fine . Many thanks for the replies and the pictures and tips etc really appreciate it .
