Hi all, i posted a topic AGES ago about the immobiliser on my freelander 2000 model not working.
When i tried the car in the car sales place. the immobiliser would not let me start the car unless i pressed the unlock button on the key fob. It has now been discovered that it is because the battery in the fob was pretty much flat and so although i could unlock the car using it, it did not posses the power to disarm the immobiliser. I have tried just attempting to start the car using the key and leaving the fob in my house and the immobiliser stays activated.
There we go, just thought i would stick this in
