any ideas

Most of them you don't need. Just replace what you take off and bag the rest. Get a good 16mm impact socket for taking off the head bolts. Read my posts cause i asked every daft question there is! But got there in the end. And like i say, its easier than i thought. Was amazed that 5 different mechanics all told me they wouldn't even consider doing the job! Good luck, take your time and be methodical- exactly what i was told! Was good advice. You've got rave, i assume?

yes mate ive got rave,

ive given myself a week to do it. thought i would store everything with its own bolts etc and try and keep it in some sort of order.

if anyone fancies giving me a hand anytime next week, the kettle never goes cold at my house and theres always beer in the fridge

A week is more than enough when all goes well. I got down to the heads in a day, then lost two days trying to get 5 head bolts to shift before buying an impact socket. Then a day put everything back together and fired up no problem. 1200miles later and running great, not even losing water. I'll shut up now before it breaks again though!
