Anyone got any experiences good or bad? I've got a bulkhead and various other bits to get done for my series 2a.
Also any recommendations wouldn't go a miss, I live not far from Burton on Trent but I guess I'll be travelling to find some place to get it done. Ta muchly .

I've never had a bulkhead dipped, but know from experience that things warp. Get some bracers welded on before taking it in. Any screwed or tapped stuff will need to be re threaded to clean galv off.

had a bulkhead and loads of other bits done, last year or so ago

Great thanks both that's just what I'm after

Never realised galvanising was that cheap..... Mmmmm
That's got me thinking!!
They charge by weight, but with a minimum charge. So it's best to get as much done at the same time as possible. But you are correct, it's not that expensive.
