I manage to snap the return line nipple from the tank while removing it but have been offered a plastic one from a 07 ( i think) td5 for tea money. It has everything in it but i want to know will it fit my 95 300tdi.

I don't think it will fit, the TD5 plastic tanks are located at the rear of the chassis whereas the 300TDI is located under the drivers seat. You can modify the chassis, although you will have to be mindful of how you run the filler pipe. As far as I'm aware it's a lot of work for little gain!! Why don't you Justine's replace the nipple and seal.?!

Think what you need is NRC9678, not cheap for what it is!

EDIT - that is for a 90 so might not be what you want.

op will correct me if i am wrong but he has as a 110 300tdi,if so its fitted at the rear same as a td5

Thanks for replying to second page thread;)
Ive a 110 95 300tdi and the plastic tank came from td5 110.
As long as it fits in the gap, i have the tub off so can adjust tank brackets.
More concerned about wiring to the sender, etc.
